I found this Marc Jacobs blazer at a vintage shop in Seattle back over Summer. The details of the collar drew me in, I then tried it on and knew it had to be mine! I think it was only around $40, which is a steal for Marc Jacobs. I paired it with an old Forever21 dress and added some simple bracelets and necklaces to top it off. 

The hot weather is still going strong, so lets hope it starts to cool off soon. I don't think I can take it that much longer.

Poppy Print

Top UO, Skirt Zara, Heels Miu Miu ( same ones here in chocolate brown), Necklace Forever21, Sunnies Replay, Lipstick Revlon "Really Red"

This shade of red lipstick is quickly becoming one of my favorites. It's one of Revlon's matte lipsticks and I just think that it's the perfect red color. 

Again, I am wearing my $35 Replay sunnies that I love! I have not taken them off since I got them in the  mail last week. Today I wore a blouse from Urban Outfitters that I got last year on sale. I think the poppy print on it is just darling and it has buttons all down the back. I got my skirt from Zara at the beginning of Spring and it's easily transitioning into Fall because of the neutral suede color. Gotta love neutrals! 

Also, thank you for all of your emails that many of you have sent me lately! I love hearing from all of you. I try to answer at least a few a day so if you have not heard back from me you will soon. I am also taking all of your suggestions for future video tutorials and am planning some beauty, makeup and skincare tutorials. So stay posted!

I have been looking for creative ways to still wear some of my summer clothes into Fall. Today I took this Quicksilver knit sweater that I wore over my swimsuit all summer and I put it over a simple white button-up to create a look I could wear to work. I also added a gold detailed bib necklace to dress it up a bit. 

My hair is in a low sloppy bun, which is usually my go-to hair style when I'm not having a good hair day...like today!

Hi Gals!

My look today was inspired by this vintage floral skirt c/o Shoppalu. I decided to go with a 50's inspired hair style and add some cool new shades I got by Replay (the link to purchase them is above). I decided to tone done the girly-ness by adding a chocolate brown leather jacket from Zara. 

One of my friends was wearing these sunnies in a picture on Facebook and I fell in love with them right away and asked her where she got them. I found them at Revolve.com and they came in the mail within 2 days. I like them so much because they have a vintage look to them with the gold detailing and I could not pass up $35!

Twist & Braid Tutorial

Hey Gals!

I decided to do a video tutorial on the Twist & Braid hairstyle I did a post about here since many of you sent me emails or comments asking how exactly I did it! It's a fairly simple hairstyle and can be done in less than 10 minutes. Hope this helps out those of you who were interested!

Also, please let me know of any other hair styles, makeup looks, etc. that would like to see in the future.

Hey guys!

I used to think that jean-on-jean was not at all an acceptable look. But since jean tops (or chambray tops) have had quite the comeback this spring/summer/fall I have embraced the look, and I must say that I do like it! A lot! I added fun pops of color through my lips and belt.

Dressed Distressed

One of my favorite looks is pairing something that is a little bit more dressy or sophisticated like a blazer with the complete opposite like ripped jeans. I've been waiting and waiting to wear this tweed blazer from Zara and I finally decided to wear it, but with ripped jean shorts to give it a casual feel. I still felt put together, but not too dressy for everyday.

Cords & Lace

Just got back home from what felt like the longest day ever. I picked up my new glasses from the eye doctor yesterday and I love them! I was tired of my old ones and I needed to increase my prescription (my eyes are getting worse). I pretty much only wear them to read the board in class and when I'm driving, but I have a feeling that I will be wearing these a lot more because I really like them! 

I decided to bring out my J Brand cords since there is a slight breeze and the leaves are starting to fall. I paired them with a white lace top from UO and my fav Seychelles wedges which I am going to have to pack away soon as it gets colder.

I realized after taking these photos that they are very green. It is one of my favorite colors because it really makes a statement while still seeming fresh and fun. I'm also wearing my new boots from Kohl's again which you can get here (on sale!)
