Feminine Blouse

The other day I ran across this site called Bamboo Sky. That is where I found this lovely top posted in this look. I fell in love with it right away because of all of the detailing with the cut-out shoulders and ruffles. Of course I bought it :) They have such great prices! Another one of my favorite sites is Anthropologie. They have such classic girly pieces and I always want everything when I visit their site! How much do you love these shorts?!

My Look

Hat J.Crew, Top UO, Skirt Zara, Shoes Jeffrey Campbell, Watch Michael Kors

A few days ago I posted a look with a skirt that I got from Zara. I ended up wearing the skirt yesterday and this is what I wore with it! I love this layered lace top I got from Urban Outfitters on sale last fall. Now that school is over and all I have left are two finals I spent some time yesterday at a local thrift/vintage store and found some really good stuff that I will be posting about later :)

Kimono

I love how kimonos are in right now! I think they are so beautiful and you all must know by now that I love flow-y clothes too :) So when I saw this kimono on Top Shop I knew I wanted to style an outfit with it. I wanted to keep the rest of the items simple,so that it did not take away from the floral pattern on the kimono. Aren't those wedges from H&M so cute? And you cannot beat H&M prices! Yesterday I wore a beautiful midi length black pleated chiffon skirt from H&M. I was twirling all day in it!!!!

Versatile Skirt

This past weekend I went shopping in San Francisco and found so many cute skirts at Zara. I bought the paneled skirt above and I absolutely love it! I have not had the chance to wear it yet so I wanted to figure out what would go with it. I love pairing this chiffon open shoulder top with it because it makes it more casual. The skirt could be worn for work, during the day time, or going out at night depending on what you pair with it! So versatile, that's what I love :)

Fun & Formal

Dress Topshop, Shoes Steve Madden, Earrings Forever 21

So this past Friday was my sororities formal. I planned the whole event and it is quite a stressful process! I was so happy with the results though :) It turned out so beautiful and everyone had a blast. I absolutely was in LOVE with my Topshop dress. It was so much fun to dance in because of how comfortable and flow-y it was. I chose a nude shoe because the dress had a bold pattern, but I was barefoot dancing by the end of night! ;) Do you guys like my look?

Tribal

I always start off styling a look by picking out one item. I found this tribal print BCBG clutch on piperlime.com. (I love that site!) Right away I knew I wanted to pair a bright skirt with it. This electric blue skirt is so fun and was perfect to go with the honey colored bag. I then found that amazing necklace from Free People aaaand I ordered it for myself right away! Also, I have a new found obsession with Essie nail polishes thanks to the Buy Two get One Free deal at Ulta Beauty! What do you think of the look?
P.S. Aren't those Calvin Klein heels to die for! They are a bit of a splurge though, but totally worth it!

Country Hippie

This look today was based around the Asos Boots I bought yesterday. I wanted to do something fun with them, so I went for an embellished bralet and paired it with some super cute high wasted denim shorts! (They are only $24.95 and i'm pretty sure I am going to go buy them this weekend :)) I didn't want this outfit to look too country, so I paired a floppy hat and dangly leaf earring with it to create a "country hippie" look! What do you think?

Casual Chiffon

On Sunday I bought this Free People chiffon skirt. I am so excited to get it in the mail and I wanted to share it with you all! It took me a while to figure out what exactly I want to wear with it, but I think a cropped top and some fun heels go perfectly! What do you think? :)

Burnt Orange

I have been obsessed with the color of burnt orange lately. Maybe because it is one of those colors from the 70's that is coming back? Anyways I absolutely adore this cutaway dress from Top Shop. Another way of adding burnt orange to your outfit without wearing a big statement piece like this dress is to wear it on your lips. It comes out beautifully!

Leopard. rawr!

I love a splash of leopard in an outfit. This leopard scarf from Asos inspired me to put this look together! The sparkles from the Free People clutch and earrings add a little bit of sass that I love :) Do you like it?

Practical Shoes

Heels are a wonderful thing. However, being in college, they are not very practical. I would and WILL wear heels as much as I can when I graduate! In the meantime, I have to rely on flats and sandals...but I will remain in style! No rainbow flip flops for me! (you will probably never ever find me in a pair!) Here are some of my favorite Spring sandals and flats with great prices! They are all in neutral colors because I am WAY too practical when it comes to colored shoes. That's one thing I need to work on. It's just so hard to convince myself to spend money on a bright blue shoe that I can wear with only minimal outfits. SO bear with me :)

Dresses with a Collar

I like dresses with a collar. It gives it structure. And I love a black and white dress too. Kourtney Kardashian's Ani Lee collared dress inspired me to find one similar. I found this black and white Peter Pan style dress on Nastygal.com. The peter pan style collar reminds me of late 60's Rosemary's baby. Makes me want to get a pixie hair cut! (But I won't!) Do you like the style of the dress?

Toss Designs

A few months ago I was in San Francisco in the Marina District and ran across a darling boutique called Toss. They had super cute bags with all kinds of designs on them and they had a few items of clothing. I got a faux leopard jacket by Sisters Outwear that I will post another time. Anyways, Toss Designs has a website (www.tossdesigns.com) where you can check out all of their bags. They have the most fun and colorful designs and they come in make-up bags, traveling bags, beach bags, suitcases, etc. Here are a few of my favorite pieces! They are all reasonably priced...aren't they adorable?!

Wide Leg Jeans

Hi Everybody! Happy Saturday :) Everybody loves a great pair of jeans right?! I sure do! One style that I think flatters many figures is the wide leg jean (especially when worn with heels). And one of the hottest trends right now is the 70's style wide leg jean! Down below I have a picture of AnnaLynne McCord in J Brand's Bette 70's wide leg jean. I do love me some J Brand jeans, but they can be expensive. These are priced at $219. There are so many great alternatives though and I found these 70's flare jeans from Asos that look identical! And they only cost $86.06. Which pair would you buy? Would you spend the extra cash just to have the J Brand ones?

I just got home from my boyfriends baseball game and I am waiting for him to finish cooking our Boca Burgers for dinner! (we are new vegans! and we love it!) I looked down at my feet and realized how much I love my new sandals from American Eagle that I got for $25! Usually I walk right by this store, but something made me go inside and they have so many cute sandals for Spring! Down below is a picture of the sandals I am wearing (please don't mind my unpedicured toes :( i am due for a much needed pedi!) and check out AE's website to view more!

Graduation Outfit

With the month of April coming to an end in a few weeks, we have graduation coming! I won't be graduating this year (next year! whoohooo), BUT my sister and my boyfriend both are! So that means....lots of grad parties! Which also means....ahhh I need outfits! I found this really cute cream strapless floral dress from Modcloth.com today. It is only $47.99! I also found this layered purple and blue strapless dress that be would look perfect with sandals or wedges, and again its only $54.99. The great thing about these dresses are that you can dress them up or down depending on if the event is during the day or in the evening! :)

White Summer Frocks

When it comes to Spring/Summer I love to wear white not only because it shows off my tan, but because it gives an instant clean fresh look. I love Ashley Tisdale's Backstage Glam Rock dress in Ivory especially because it is all lace, but still looks feminine! But it is priced at $165. I found a similar white lace Charleston dress at Nastygal.com for only $58!

Summer Shorts- J.Crew Style

I have always had an issue with finding cute summer shorts that are long, but not short. Do you know what I mean? I feel like shorts are either suuuper short or go down to mid-thigh! Luckily, I went to J. Crew the other day and found a bunch i loved. They were the perfect length and have a thicker waist band that makes them really comfy. Plus, they only ranged from $29.99- $59.99! Gotta love that! ;) Where are some places you guys find great summer shorts?

Sorority Formal

Soo my sorority's formal is coming up next weekend! ( I am super excited) It took me a while to find a dress that I really loved. I wanted something short, flow-y, and ready for Spring. I found this 70's style dress at Top Shop and knew it was the one right away! As Rachel Zoe would say, "I Die"! Of course I had to order it online and i crossed my fingers that it would fit/look good on me. I was so excited when it came in the mail and even MORE excited when it fit like glove! I then went to Nordies (aka Nordstrom) and bought these nude Steve Madden Bevv heels. I love wearing lots of jewelry, but because this dress has such an intense patterns, i decided to just wear some simple earrings. I got these large crystal dangling earring for around $3.00 from Forever21. What do you think of my look? I will post a final picture of how everything turns out!

Unfortunately my dress from Top Shop is sold out, but I did find a good comparison from Asos for only $89.65! (isn't it cute? i want to order it too!!!)

Sole Society

Hey Everyone!

I wanted to let you all in on a great site that I joined a few weeks ago. It's called Sole Society and it is like Kim Kardashian's Shoe Dazzle, but with less of a "funky" style. I have not loved any of the shoes that I have seen on Shoe Dazzle, but on Sole Society, they are all super cute! All of the shoes are a set price of $49.95! Here are some of the shoes in my showroom now. Have you gals heard of this site before? Do you like it? Go check it out!

Now we are seeing fringe every where and on everything! I love it :) Here is Kourtney Kardashian wearing a Stella & Jamie fringe bag that costs $480. My version is from Top Shop and costs $60! Who said you can't get great fashion for less?! Do you guys like fringe? Let me know!

Jeffrey Campbell Shoes

Jeffrey Campbell shoes are to DIE FOR! Every single pair! The only problem is...they sell out fast! I fell in love with Foxy in brown/wood and had to have them. I searched on every online site I could find...but nothing. I then finally went to the Jeffrey Campbell website (at jeffreycampbellshoes.com) and contacted all of the retailers listed. I received an email the next day from one store in North Carolina called Tops for Shoes and they had one pair left! I quickly ordered them and now they are sitting perfectly on my feet :)

Hippie Chic Shorts

I love seeing what celebrities are wearing to get inspiration for my own outfits. One of my favorite people to follow is Vanessa Hudgens. She has a relaxed hippie-chic look that is always unique and put together, without a matchy-matchy feeling. Here she is wearing some seriously cute Kenny Guadalajara shorts in Magenta with an adorable leather and feather necklace.

My inspiration was Vanessa's shorts. They are just SOO CUTE. But I do not want to pay $132 for them! So, I found a pair at Forever21 (what would we do without forever?) that look extremely similar to them! Of course, at $14.80, I bought them! Pair them with a black tank, long sweater, some slouchy boots, annd your ready to go! I also found a necklace that looks almost exactly like the one Vanessa is wearing, but it is from Forever21 as well! And you cant pass up $4.80 for it!
