Wow, time sure does fly by! I cannot believe it's already Wednesday. My Memorial day weekend was very relaxing which is just what I wanted. I spent Monday moving into my new place for summer and today was my boyfriend's birthday. In celebration, I baked him a vegan red velvet cake (we have been vegan's for a few months now) and it was delicious! Maybe I will post a picture of it later :) Anyways, I just got these Quicksilver jeans this past weekend on sale for $20! I have never bought their jeans before, but I really like them! Jeans are one thing I usually will spend a good amount of money on because I feel like you can really tell the difference, but I thought that this was too good of a deal to pass up! I also bought this purse at the same store I got my jeans. It is called Kelli and it is located in Merced, CA. If you are ever in the area, definitely go check it out! This store always has amazing things in all different price ranges and the people working there are SOOO sweet :)

New Camera!

I am loving asymmetrical dresses right now. So when I saw this one on Threadsence.com I fell in love. (I feel like I say that about everything, but I really DO fall in love with all these things) Anyways, I am still contemplating ordering it because I am going shopping this weekend to Anthropologies big sale :) So I'll have to wait and see what I find. Another item that I am particularly fond of right now is tassel jewelry. I think these two-toned earrings from Nasty Gal are great! I hope everyone has a fantastic Holiday weekend! Get the Look: Turban

One of my favorite accessories for summer is the mini turban. I think it is darling. I did a home-made version of it yesterday, and I think it turned out pretty cute! I was really busy all day. I worked and left for San Francisco right after to go to the Giants game. It was very fun, but cold :( Hope you guys enjoy!

One of my favorite colors is light pink. I love the femininity of it and I think it is a great color for summer. I love the frill detailing on these Style By Marina shorts. Everything on their website has a unique feel to it. I also paired a colorful broach with this look because it adds some sparkle and glamour without going overboard. Adding a broach to an outfit is a good way of adding simple jewelry when your outfit already has a big statement piece like this blouse. The sleeves on this blouse are what made me like it. Also I really like pairing prints, but in a subtle way. As long as the colors go together and the prints are not too crazy, then it can work. Like this floral pattern on this blouse with the leopard on the purse!

A Touch of Red

I am officially home from my vacations and back to reality. I had a wonderful time and thank you all for the comments! I got this J. Crew blazer at the beginning of Spring and it is the perfect jacket for my summer outfits. I threw it on over my romper because it was a little cold out and I was still able to keep my look summery and fresh. I really like this romper because of the scallop detailing. I also am loving red accents right now. As you can tell, I am a big fan of colored lips so I went a bit further and added a red belt and scarf to spice it up a bit.

So here are some of my purchases that I have made so far in Hawaii.  I adore my new Steve Madden Wedges because they have just the perfect amount of shimmer while still looking casual. I have been searching for a new swim suit here in Hawaii because I always get a new one when I come. I have been really wanting a high-wasted suit this summer and this Marc by Marc Jacobs one is perfect! Its so adorable on and has a sailor-ish feel that I love. Also, I have told you guys about the shop Bamboo Sky before (I have made some online purchases there) but I was able to actually visit the boutique a few days ago (Since it is located here in Honolulu). I definitely wanted everything there but limited myself to two pairs of earrings, one shown above. I am off to go on a hike to a waterfall, I will keep you all posted :)

Hello Everyone! When I was in Seattle I went to a vintage store called Alexandra's Vintage Consignment Boutique. That is where I found this beautiful retro Céline blouse for $70!!! Since I am loving 70s styles right now it was perfect for my growing collection. I love the pinks and oranges in it and the silk fabric...and it goes with my new Kate Spade purse! I also bought this hat at the Free People store in Seattle and I have worn it everyday since we have arrived to Hawaii. Its the perfect hat for summer. As you can see I am quite sunburnt so I will be spending the day avoiding the sun and doing other fun activities instead.

Dress Eight Sixty (I got at my favorite boutique Kelli in Merced, CA) Wedges Steve Madden, Purse Kate Spade, Necklaces Target & Thrifted, Rings UO & Aldo, Watch Michael Kors

Our first day in Hawaii was wonderful! The weather is amazing and it feels so good :) So this past weekend I was in Nordstrom and saw this orange Kate Spade bag. Right away I fell madly in love with it and could not get it out of my mind. I knew it had to be mine, so I went back a little later and did just that! My hair is a little crazy in these pictures because my sister and I were driving all around Waikiki on her moped (so fun!) and I let it air-dry my hair for me. This dress is so comfy and perfect for an evening dinner with my family.  Have a great night!

Yesterday I had a lovely date night with my boyfriend. We went to my favorite Thai restaurant and then to the movies. It was warm out so I wore this black pleated skirt I got from H&M. It is one of my favorite things in my wardrobe right now. I have now worn it twice, the first time I paired it with a chiffon top. This time I wore it with a tank I got from Urban Outfitters that I ended up tying in the front so it wouldn't completely cover the skirt. Also, I am loving this tribal-esque necklace I picked up from Forever21 last week! What are some of your favorite things in your wardrobe right now?

I am officially on Summer break! I am so excited to just relax and work at my internship for the next few months. This past weekend was a lot of fun and I had a wonderful Mother's Day with my mom and family. The weather was not as warm as it has been, so I opted for a pair of skinny jeans and paired it with my new Bamboo Sky top that I had posted about here. The cut-outs on the shoulders make it really unique, I think that's why I like it so much. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day! I am going to try and get into the habit of running after work everyday...we'll see how long that lasts! :)

I am leaving for Hawaii in 6 days! My older sister is graduating from Hawaii Pacific University, so my whole family is going and I am super excited. Every summer I get a little obsessive and buy a ridiculous amount of bikinis and when I saw this L*Space swimsuit I wanted it right away! I love the pattern and retro feel to it.  You cannot go to the beach without a big floppy hat and luckily there are tons of cute ones out right now. If you don't have an H&M near you, Target has some really cute ones too! That is where I found my new beach bag (seen above) and I love it because it has just a tiny amount of sequence on it so I can bring some bling to the beach without going overboard :)

Feels like Summer

Although it was only in the 80's, it felt pretty hot today. Right when I woke up it was warm, so I grabbed this new tunic I got from Target and threw it on. The thing I love about Target is that they have guest designers come in and do a brief line that allows those who can't afford their luxury labels to get a little feel of what it is like. Right now they have a line by Calypso and I must say it is really nice! I love this tunic I got because it's silk and beyond comfortable! I feel like I have nothing on! And of course to go with the hot day I have some delicious frozen yogurt that I devoured. Also, my lipstick is the color "Siren" by Revlon.

3 of My Favorite Things

 The other day I was trying to figure out how to get one of those cool applications for the camera on my phone. Unlike the Iphone that has tons, my Blackberry has none. I was searching the internet and found this site called Poladroid. It's so cool! It downloads what looks like a mini polaroid on your computer and then you just drop pictures into it. I decided to take pictures of my 3 favorite things right now and then turn them into cute poladroids for you! I have let my hair grow out for the past year, after dying it blonde and then dark brown it really needed it. I am so happy I finally have my natural color back and its so long! Last week I went to a local thrift store and that necklace was one of my finds. I love the antique design and it was only $3.50! And finally, my last favorite thing of the moment is my new Miss Dior Cherie perfume. Is smells soooooo good. When I went out with my girlfriends they couldn't stop smelling me :)

Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a much more eventful day than I had today. With dance over and school now finishing up I feel as though I am not as productive. I do however have time to now play around with my wardrobe! I love taking old items of clothes and reinventing them into a new look :) I had a post on these shorts here a few weeks ago, but it was still was not warm enough to wear them. Luckily, the weather was b-e-a-utiful yesterday and I finally got to wear them! My boyfriend and I went out for an early dinner and sat outside. It was the perfect temperature and quite a lovely evening..what a great start for the summer :)
