I fell in love with the details in this dress and it was on sale...so it came home

with me! It's so comfy and lightweight, the perfect dress to just throw on and go.

It has so much detail in it that no jewelry was really necessary.

I decided to hop on the peplum trend once I spotted this top from Anthropologie. I'm now looking for a white skirt to pair it with- I think an all white outfit is a must in the summertime. 

I'm really busy right now, with all of my finals, papers, essays and everything else being due. I can't believe I have about 3 weeks left of college!!! Wish me luck :)

I love the look and feel of mixing textures. This knit is the perfect contrast 

against the lace slip skirt so that it looks day time appropriate. 

I'm really loving all of the pastel colors and this pale pink studded bag is the perfect 

way to incorporate the color into all my summer outfits.

Floral Trousers

I have been a huge fan of the floral pant trend that has been popping up everywhere and I finally gave in when I spotted these trousers at Anthropologie. I absolutely love these pants and also the exact same pair in red (they are so soft and comfy!). I decided to tone down the intense floral pattern with a few shades of neutral colors and bright pink lip. Are you a fan of the floral print trend?

 I have seen pink and red paired together everywhere lately. After I saw this look and this post, I decided to give it a try. I really love the contrast of the two colors. I would have never thought to try try it! One of the reasons why I love blogging and street style is that there is inspiration everywhere. It can feel a little weird going out of your comfort zone, but it's fun to play around with different patterns and colors and test your imagination.

Brights in Winter

Elizabeth from Spike the Punch sent over this necklace and I couldn't help but feel inspired by the neon pink. So I pulled out one of my brightest blouses and and paired it with yet, another (more subtle) bright color. I have been crazy about neon colors lately and they are everywhere! I did feel as though this outfit was a bit bright to wear in the middle of winter, but hey...why not!? I have to admit I was a little cold in it though.. 

P.S. I really want to find a tweed skirt in this color, but with a more affordable price tag! Let me know if you see one :)

Geometric Shapes

I jumped with joy when my new Tory Burch bag came in the mail yesterday. It was an early Christmas gift from my parents since I am going to Little St. Simon's Island with my fiancé's family for two weeks (we leave next saturday!). I love the gold & suede detailing of it. Not to mention that color is so divine. It's just what I wanted since my last Tory Burch bag (the Thomas got me two years ago for my birthday) has seen its days. I definitely got my use out of it!

I didn't mean to match the geometric shapes in my skirt to the ones from my necklace until after I put the two together. I'm really liking how it turned out.

Caramel & Red

I think that caramel is one of my favorite colors. I also love the way it looks with red. There is just something really classic about the two together, especially with some plaid thrown in the mix. Also, these Ivanka Trump suede wedges are a great alternative to the J. Crew one's with a much lower price tag!
