Sweater Zara, Blouse BCBG, Skirt J. Crew, Necklace Bloomingdales, Watch Michael Kors, Shoes Miu Miu
One item that can always make an outfit look classic is tweed. I think it's because tweed (if its done right) reminds me of Chanel. I want sooo badly to own a Chanel tweed jacket someday! BUT, in the meantime I will stick with my J. Crew skirt and I also recently bought a tweed blazer from Zara. If you look really close, this skirt has a few threads of purple in it, so I wore this eggplant colored sweater to bring it out. Even though I don't wear it that much, purple is one of my favorite colors.
I love the "preppy-ness" of this outfit. I feel like it really shows what I love; color, structure, femininity, it's classic with a touch of sparkle! eh :)

i absolutely love tweed and the color of this skirt. i love everything chanel. chanel used to sew chains inside of the jackets she made in order for them to hang properly. if you haven't seen coco before chanel, you must! it's a french film with subtitles, but it's one of my favorite movies..ever!
