This is going to be a real quick post because I just got done with dance practice (ended at 10:30) and we have workouts with our trainer at 5:45 am...soooo I need to get to bed! But basically this is what I wore today. I love a structured button-up that adds a little professionalism to any outfit. H&M has so many for less than $30.

Thomas and I were able to pop in a quick outfit shoot between classes today. I started my senior year and he started grad school and we pretty much have opposite schedules which is kind of a bummer. 

The last picture of these high waisted cord shorts shows a much more accurate color that the top photos. For some reason they came out darker...? Anyways, this raspberry shade one of my favorite colors right now.

New

Getting ready for my last first day of college tomorrow! I received some new things in the mail on Friday  and stopped by Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters this past weekend to get a few things for this Fall Semester. I think I finally found the perfect pair of skinny jeans and I am so thrilled. I usually have a hard time finding jeans that fit me just right so I was very excited when I tried on my new J Brand Jeans and they fit me perfectly. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Oldie but Goodie

Top Zara, Shorts Forever21, Necklace (Made by me!), Ring Madewell, Glasses YSL (boyfriends), Sling-backs Nordtsrom

I have had these leopard sling-backs from Nordstrom for over 6 years! I don't even know who makes them because it is worn off. I still wear them often and they are in pretty good condition. I also love these high-waisted shorts from Forever21, but they wrinkle really fast! (as you can see) And sorry for the poor picture quality in my last post. I was excited to show you guys my hair and took to my photobooth to do that! This necklace I have on is another piece of jewelry that I made last Friday. I think that it is going to be worn a lot for Fall. 

Everyone is moving back to school and the campus is starting to get crowded again. I love this time of year because everyone is so excited to be back. We had our first dance practice tonight from 5-9 and boy was it a work out! It must have been 90+ degrees in our dance studio because we don't have any air conditioning. Oh well, at least I am going to be in tip-top shape in no time!

New Hair

I went ombre! It's really not that much different from my previous hair color because my highlights were growing out. I had my roots slightly darkened and the ends lightened! I love change :)

In a Sunset

Dress Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony, Wedges Seychelles, Bracelets Homemade, Name Necklace Bamboo Sky

I went to the most beautiful wedding this weekend and had such a fun time dancing all night. I wore this Chloe Sevigny dress I got on sale at Opening Ceremony when I was in LA. It has the most adorable sailor-style bib and silky fabric. 

My photographer (Thomas, my boyfriend) is in New York for the next few days and I miss him so much already! I can't believe I start my senior year of college a week from tomorrow. It is so crazy how fast time flies by. I'm so excited and ready though :)

WISH WISH WISH

I am completely in love with J. Crew's Fall line! Especially the café wool capri in purple! I have been searching high and low for these pants since the moment I saw them. They are sold out online and not available in any of the J. Crew stores I have been to. I even tweeted J. Crew asking them if they were getting them back in stock (no response). LUCKILY my older sister who lives in Hawaii called me yesterday and told me that she saw them at the J. Crew where she lives and they had my size! (I had told her about my slight obsession with them previously!) SO she got them for me and will be brining them to me shortly when she visits in the beginning of September. :) :) :) :) <---- That's how happy I am right now! :)

That's one thing checked off my wish list for Fall. Now only 843785 more things to go....

I thought I would "dress up" my sloppy bun by adding my J. Crew brooch to it. I actually really like how it came out and am planning on doing it again! I love this top I got at Zara a while ago. I decided to bring it out and dress it down for work with some dark blue trousers. 

I am beyond jealous of my bf Thomas because he is getting to go to New York next week (for work)! I have never been and seriously cannot wait to go someday...He is also in Wyoming right now fishing so I am hanging out with my grandparents who live pretty close to me. Enjoying a nice relaxing dinner :)

Denim Top BCBG, Skirt Zara, Heels Michael Kors, Necklace Forever21, Revlon lipstick in "Wild Orchid"

I have worn this denim button-up so many times this Summer that I can't even remember! It seems to be my go-to top when I want a more laid back look. I love pairing it with a "glam-ish" necklace to give it a causal but still polished look. I am so over this heat and ready for Fall to come! I need to move somewhere that does not get above 80 degrees after I graduate. Hmmm...where would that be?

Top/Skirt/Necklace Forever21, Heels Charles David, Bag Chanel, Watch Michael Kors, Lip color Revlon Just Bitten in "Twilight"

SO in love with this leather skirt I got from Forever 21. I went with a more monochromatic look pairing it with a top the same camel color. I just got this Revlon lip stain called Just Bitten in Twilight. It's amazing! It stays on all day long and does not come off on anything. I swear! Anyways, I'm getting my hair done next week and I am contemplating on doing the ombre look. What do you all think? Hope you all have a great week :)

Weekend Coverage

I spent my weekend down at my parent's house hanging out with my little brother and sister. It's so funny because every time I see them they are taller and taller! My 13 year old brother is now taller than me and my 12 year old sister is practically as tall as me...and she is still growing. Which now makes me THE shortest person in my whole entire family. That is including cousins, aunts, grandparents, etc. Not Fair. Anyways, I had a great weekend. I enjoyed the simple things like...

Eating too many Skinny Cow mint ice cream sandwiches...soooo yummy :)
