I first discovered Mara Hoffman through one of her swim suits that

I saw pinned on Pinterest. The intricate pattern and detail instantly grabbed

my attention and then immediately went on my wish list. 

I love when I discover a new designer or line that instantly takes my mind on a 

journey of where I would wear that item. I feel as if I would explore caves, swim

in a tropical ocean and immerse myself in a culture I know nothing about while

wearing these beautiful things.

I tend to do this a lot with things I fall in love with. Please tell me I am not

the only one that does this?!

WISH WISH WISH

I am completely in love with J. Crew's Fall line! Especially the café wool capri in purple! I have been searching high and low for these pants since the moment I saw them. They are sold out online and not available in any of the J. Crew stores I have been to. I even tweeted J. Crew asking them if they were getting them back in stock (no response). LUCKILY my older sister who lives in Hawaii called me yesterday and told me that she saw them at the J. Crew where she lives and they had my size! (I had told her about my slight obsession with them previously!) SO she got them for me and will be brining them to me shortly when she visits in the beginning of September. :) :) :) :) <---- That's how happy I am right now! :)

That's one thing checked off my wish list for Fall. Now only 843785 more things to go....

I am seriously loving the loafer pump right now. I also found a great Pour La Victoire pair here. I have already started my wish list for fall shoes I want and it pretty much consists of all booties. I have a few weddings coming up that I am going to. I have been looking around to find cute summer dresses that will be light and fun to wear. These are some of my top choices as of now. I am in love with that Preen dress and it's on sale! I love the little bustier in it, but the Guess one is a good alternative (with a smaller price tag!) I am leaving for my mini vacation in Santa Monica tomorrow morning and I am so excited! If you guys know of any great shops, restaurants, or fun things to do around the LA area let me know! :)

I have two ways I shop online. One is that I go to all of my favorite sites like Nasty Gal, Bamboo Sky, LuLu's, TopShop, Piperlime, Asos, Thread Sence, etc and look at things that I might actually purchase and that I can afford to buy. But the other way is that I go to my other favorite sites like La Garconne, Shop Bop, My Theresa, Opening Ceremony, and Barney's so that I can day dream about everything I would buy if I had an endless amount of money. Although very small, my collection of luxury designer items is growing slowly, and I am fine with that. I will take it piece by piece, until one day I will look in my closet and be so proud of my collection :) and then continue on making it much larger...

I am loving asymmetrical dresses right now. So when I saw this one on Threadsence.com I fell in love. (I feel like I say that about everything, but I really DO fall in love with all these things) Anyways, I am still contemplating ordering it because I am going shopping this weekend to Anthropologies big sale :) So I'll have to wait and see what I find. Another item that I am particularly fond of right now is tassel jewelry. I think these two-toned earrings from Nasty Gal are great! I hope everyone has a fantastic Holiday weekend! One of my favorite colors is light pink. I love the femininity of it and I think it is a great color for summer. I love the frill detailing on these Style By Marina shorts. Everything on their website has a unique feel to it. I also paired a colorful broach with this look because it adds some sparkle and glamour without going overboard. Adding a broach to an outfit is a good way of adding simple jewelry when your outfit already has a big statement piece like this blouse. The sleeves on this blouse are what made me like it. Also I really like pairing prints, but in a subtle way. As long as the colors go together and the prints are not too crazy, then it can work. Like this floral pattern on this blouse with the leopard on the purse!

I am leaving for Hawaii in 6 days! My older sister is graduating from Hawaii Pacific University, so my whole family is going and I am super excited. Every summer I get a little obsessive and buy a ridiculous amount of bikinis and when I saw this L*Space swimsuit I wanted it right away! I love the pattern and retro feel to it.  You cannot go to the beach without a big floppy hat and luckily there are tons of cute ones out right now. If you don't have an H&M near you, Target has some really cute ones too! That is where I found my new beach bag (seen above) and I love it because it has just a tiny amount of sequence on it so I can bring some bling to the beach without going overboard :)

The other day I ran across this site called Bamboo Sky. That is where I found this lovely top posted in this look. I fell in love with it right away because of all of the detailing with the cut-out shoulders and ruffles. Of course I bought it :) They have such great prices! Another one of my favorite sites is Anthropologie. They have such classic girly pieces and I always want everything when I visit their site! How much do you love these shorts?!
