LOFT $100 Gift Card Giveaway- CLOSED

Blouse ALC, Skirt c/o LOFT, Sunnies Ray Ban, Wedges Ivanka Trump, Clutch c/o Rebecca Minkoff

I recently received a gift card from LOFT to check out
their new fall collection. LOFT has always been one of my
(and my moms!) favorite stores for work-appropriate attire and casual
pieces to wear on the weekends.
I chose the colorblock cotton shift skirt for it's figure flattering black side panels
and the fact that it can be paired with almost anything.

Now the good part,
LOFT is giving away a $100 gift card to one lucky
Gal Meets Glam reader!
All you have to do is be a follower of GMG and leave
a comment below with your name and email address
so I can contact you if you win.

The winner will be drawn at random next Monday evening.

*The gift card and skirt were provided by LOFT, however these are my own opinions and views on the brand.

Blouse LOFT, Skirt H&M, Flats Madewell, Sunnies J.Crew (on sale!), Purse Vintage Chanel, Necklace c/o Stella & Dot

I had my eye on these sunglasses for a while and finally bought them right
before the 4th of July. I thought they suited the day pretty well.
I was really excited when I got an extra 30% off the sale price! (J.Crew is having a sale
right now if you didn't know. You're welcome)
Have a wonderful weekend!

Lace & Gingham

Top Loft, Skirt c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Trench H&M, Pumps Zara, Sunnies Elizabeth & James, Purse Stella McCartney, Lipstick YSL

Lately I have been playing around with mixing different textures and patterns to create fun, unique looks. I love the contrast of the gingham print with the crochet lace. I like to keep everything else pretty simple, with minimal jewelry and accessories.
I'm in the middle of midterms right now, anticipating Spring Break next week! My dance team travels down south to Anaheim for the Big West Conference with the basketball team at my school. I can't wait to take a break from school, enjoy the warm weather and relax with my best friends. Only a few more days...

A New Do

Top Blouse American Apparel, Bottom Blouse Forever21, Jeans Loft, Watch Michael Kors, Bracelets LYLIF and Stella & Dot, Lipgloss Smashbox "It Girl"

The weather here was surprisingly much warmer than we had anticipated. It has been in the high 60s and low 70s. Since I packed clothes for mostly cool weather, I have been re-wearing and trying to get creative with the items I brought for warmer weather. I layered these two blouses for a warm, breezy evening dinner and paired them with my favorite jeans from the Loft.
Can you tell I cut 6 inches off my hair? Although I didn't need to cut my hair (it was really healthy and long), I really wanted to. It was the longest it has ever been and somewhat annoying to deal with. I always thought that I wanted super long hair and then when I actually had it, I didn't know what to do with it. It feels so good to have it a bit shorter!

Sweaters & Knits

Sweater Forever21, Cords J Brand, Knit Scarf The Loft, Socks Urban Outfitters, Booties Modern Vintage, Glasses Juicy Couture, Watch Michael Kors, Lipstick Revlon "Really Red"

Sweaters & Knits. My favorite part about this time of year...along with cozy scarves and fun socks! I combined all of my favorite elements (along with some cords!) to create a look that was warm, comfy, and perfect for my busy schedule of class..work..class..errands.

Sparkles on Stripes

Sweater The Loft, Chambray Top BCBG, Shorts Nasty Gal, Tights Target, Booties Modern Vintage, Necklace Homemade, Lipstick Revlon "Really Red"

I found this sweater on clearance at The Loft a few weeks ago and instantly loved the touch of sparkle in the thick stripes. Since I am constantly trying to mix in some of my summer items into my fall outfits I paired these suede shorts with tights to keep warm. I loved the way it turned out with the different textures and I'm thinking of pulling out a few more summer things from my storage bins.
What are the ways your mixing your summer things into cooler weather?
