Lady Like

Sweater c/o Awear, Skirt TopShop, Belt Forever 21(no longer online but love this heart one), Heels Moschino, Purse Miu Miu, Sunglasses Dior, Nails c/o Kate Spade NY

I bought this skirt at TopShop because it reminded me of this Elizabeth and
James skirt (now on sale) that I wanted really bad, but was out of my price range.
I love the fullness of the skirt and how lady like I feel when I put it on.
I felt it only necessary to add some pink and tiny gold bows
(on my belt and on my heels) for that extra girly charm.

Metallic & Tweed

Top TopShop, Skirt H&M, Wedges Prada, Purse Miu Miu, Sunglasses Dior, Ring Hanna Warner, Cuff Rebekah Price

On Friday, I headed to the Kate Spade New York Spring 2013
presentation and then went to the Rebecca Minkoff show.
Both were amazing, but guys, over half of Kate Spade NY collection had bows
on it! Bows, bows and more bows! I was in heaven.
For both events, I paired a tweed peplum top with a metallic skirt I got at H&M.
I love the contrast of the two textures and how the skirt downplays the
 girly-ness of my outfit.

*The last picture is of me, Sally and Molly and Taylor from the Kate Spade New York presentation.

LBD

Dress Miu Miu (scored on sale at Net-A-Porter), Heels J.Crew, Bag Miu Miu, Lipstick Jane Iredale

When Net-A-Porter had their sale back in June, I wouldn't let myself get anything
until it reached the "final sale"of up to 70% off.
I had been eyeing this dress (it has a lace bow!) but of course the price was way out of
my budget and it was sold out in my size. On the last few days on the sale, I re-checked
just for fun and found it back in stock in my size and with a significant price drop.
This is a dress that I will have for forever and remain my favorite LBD
of all time!
This night was spent at Hotel De Russie, where we had cocktails
and dinner at their beautiful restaurant, Le Jardin de Russie.

P.S. After an internship with ShopStyle all summer, I just started a new full-time
position with Tart Collections in their marketing department!

Touring Rome

This was a bath tub way back when!
Inside St. Peter's Church
Trevi Fountain!
First Outfit: Dress Anthropologie, Sandals Madewell, Sunglasses Dior, Purse Coach
Second Outfit: Top Zara, Shorts Madewell, Purse Miu Miu, Sandals Madewell, Sunglasses Dior

Our two full days in Rome were spent touring the Vatican, Colosseum, Roman Ruins, Pantheon,
Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese, Trevi Fountain and all of the other main attractions in the city.
We had guides along the way, which was so helpful in learning and being
reminded of the history of each thing we saw.
If you are heading to Rome make sure to check out Villa Borghese!
It's the most beautiful park where you can rent bikes, have picnics and take
a nap in the shade. After trucking around the city in 100 degree weather, we cooled
off in the park and rode bikes around.

When In Rome

T Shirt Zara, Skirt Anthropologie (on sale!), Sandals Madewell (on sale!), Purse Miu Miu, Sunglasses Dior

After Florence, Thomas and I took a train to Rome.
I loved using the train systems instead of driving in Italy.
They were really quick and easy to use and I would definitely recommend
them if you are planning a trip to Italy.
I love this Anthropologie skirt (last seen here). It's so comfy and perfect for traveling.
These pictures were taken after we checked into our hotel and started
exploring Rome!

P.S. Check out the interview I did was the sweet Shannon
from GBO Fashion.

Exploring Florence

Dress Dorothy Perkins, Wedges Prada, Sunglasses Dior, Bag Miu Miu

Thomas and I spent our second day in Florence with a private guide
(a gift from my grandparents) that took us around the city.
He explained in detail, the history behind the city and the most important
locations, statues and paintings.
Of course, he took us to see the David (which unfortunately
you cannot take pictures of) which was incredibly beautiful
and mind-blowing that Michelangelo carved it from one piece of marble.
As you can see, I obviously didn't wear wedges on our tour, but
changed into them after for some pre-dinner drinks.
