Camel & Brights

Coat J. Crew, Sweater J. Crew, Skirt Zara (similar style here), Belt Banana Republic, Pumps Tory Burch, Sunnies Elizabeth and James, Necklaces c/o Spike the Punch, Bracelets c/o Bfrend, Watch Michael Kors

When I was younger I used to match everything I was wearing. As I got older, I became against looking too matchy-matchy (It became somewhat "un-cool" I guess). Now, I love matching the colors of the items that I am wearing. I think it creates a look that is very clean and polished. Camel is one of my favorite colors to wear and it looks great paired with any bright color.
So heres to being matchy-matchy!

I love that sweater! I've seen those Tory's before and I always think they look matronly, but somehow you pull them off:) XO

Love that color! It's amazing. It's such a pretty shade. I used to have a cardigan that color, you have just inspired me to wear it again! I just love the way that pink looks with the gold on your necklace and the color of your trench! Divine!

Absolutely LOVE the "matchy matchiness"! I think blogging has allowed us to see a lot of flashy, crazy looks and while they can be inspiring, I too have been craving for more clean and polished looks. This is a perfect example, and the coral and camel together are so gorgeous.

Happy Monday Julia!

I love dressing in matchy matchy outfits even if they're un-cool or old-fashioned. As you said they look more polished, and I think they are more classic and elegant. You look wonderful in your camel coat and your bright ensemble!

Dear Julia,
I would like to wish you, first of all, the greatest year, since so many of your dreams are about to come true and I truly wish you the best, eventhough I do not know you in person; but I guess that when a person decides to share a bit of her life with total strangers, and those on the other side decide to follow those flashes willingly, effortlessly and eagerly we kind of become friends. I´m from Portugal, I do not post very often but I follow your blog daily, anticipating with excitment what the news are going to be this time, never disappointing and always revigorated and inspired. Secondly I’d like to thank you for letting a door open for us, so that we could appreciate the way you’ve evolved into someone so inspiring, so creative, so meticulous, so spontaneous, but above all, so genuinely true to yourself. Thank you, for I have also grown with you. I’ll keep on coming here, visiting you, hoping that if you come to my country one day, I’ll have the pleasure of welcoming you personally, opening then the doors of my house to you and hoping that you’ll feel at ease, just like I do, everytime I come to your blog. Cheers to you doll! Keep on being very Happy!
