Thomas and I took a few snapshots inside today since I have been a little under the weather. How gorgeous is this Shop Paris With Love necklace? I don't usually wear a lot of silver jewelry, so it's nice to change it up a bit. I love how simple and delicate it is...and it looks beautiful with my ring :)

This blazer is great because it has enough bling to not have to wear any jewelry. I put together a more "work appropriate" look because I wore this to my internship, but I can't wait to create an edgy-er look with it. Thank goodness the weekend has finally come!

When I was younger I used to match everything I was wearing. As I got older, I became against looking too matchy-matchy (It became somewhat "un-cool" I guess). Now, I love matching the colors of the items that I am wearing. I think it creates a look that is very clean and polished. Camel is one of my favorite colors to wear and it looks great paired with any bright color. 

So heres to being matchy-matchy!

So, I've been sooo excited to share this collaboration I did with LYLIF, a new online boutique, with all of you! We shot their new lookbook a few weeks ago and I had a blast. I got to see a lot of the items that they are carrying and play dress up in them. SO fun :) They sell not only super stylish, trendy clothes, shoes and accessories, but they are all affordable. What could be better than that?! I picked up the skirt I'm wearing above and they are selling it for only $19!

New

Getting ready for my last first day of college tomorrow! I received some new things in the mail on Friday  and stopped by Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters this past weekend to get a few things for this Fall Semester. I think I finally found the perfect pair of skinny jeans and I am so thrilled. I usually have a hard time finding jeans that fit me just right so I was very excited when I tried on my new J Brand Jeans and they fit me perfectly. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I went ombre! It's really not that much different from my previous hair color because my highlights were growing out. I had my roots slightly darkened and the ends lightened! I love change :)

Something New

I am completely in love with my new Miu Miu heels I got on major sale! I spent forever looking for them and knew they were perfect when I saw them (plus they were on sale for a great price!). It was pouring rain yesterday, so instead of getting to take pictures in them, I took a picture of them. I can't wait to put tons of outfits together with them.

Pleats On My Shoulders

I love learning how to do fun things with my hair. I saw a picture of this "Milk Maid" hair style and instantly wanted to try it on myself. It is so simple and easy to do! Just part your hair down the middle, make two braids, and then lay them over your head over-lapping one another and bobby pinning. I was in much need for this new Zara skirt that I picked up when I was in San Francisco this weekend. I didn't have a green skirt and this shade is one of my favorites. I wanted it to be the main color of my outfit so I paired it will a neutral top and some black accessories. These American Apparel tights are my absolute favorite tights in the whole world. They have little hearts on them (if you can't tell) and I try and wear them as much as possible.

A Wonderful Day

So the weather is a bit deceiving in this photo. My boyfriend and I were in San Francisco all weekend and although it appears to be sunny, it was not. It was gray outside and rained on and off. So I opted for tights with my shorts and threw on my H&M trench to make my outfit better suited to the weather. Our day however, ended up being very lovely. We started out having breakfast at a really cute Vegan restaurant called Herbivore where I got the most delicious vegan french toast! We will definitely be going back! We did a little shopping and then ended our day with delicious Indian food. It was a relaxing weekend filled with yummy food. The perfect kind! I got this hat at Jeremy's Department store in San Francisco last year and I was so excited to bring it out again (I had packed it away for Winter) when the weather decided to change. Happy Monday :)

A Sunny Thunderstorm

There was a thunderstorm today and it poured rain. You would not guess this by my outfit nor by the sun shining. I got really lucky because the storm happened during the six hours I was at work, so by the time I came out...it was sunny again :) I love this H&M faux leather jacket I picked up a few months ago. I have not gotten around to wearing it that often, but it is so versatile because of the nude color. I didn't really get a great picture of my Charles David heels, but I will in another post. Mixing bright colors seems to be my go-to for this summer. It adds an instant pop to my outfits, which I love.

Lace Me Up

Wow, time sure does fly by! I cannot believe it's already Wednesday. My Memorial day weekend was very relaxing which is just what I wanted. I spent Monday moving into my new place for summer and today was my boyfriend's birthday. In celebration, I baked him a vegan red velvet cake (we have been vegan's for a few months now) and it was delicious! Maybe I will post a picture of it later :) Anyways, I just got these Quicksilver jeans this past weekend on sale for $20! I have never bought their jeans before, but I really like them! Jeans are one thing I usually will spend a good amount of money on because I feel like you can really tell the difference, but I thought that this was too good of a deal to pass up! I also bought this purse at the same store I got my jeans. It is called Kelli and it is located in Merced, CA. If you are ever in the area, definitely go check it out! This store always has amazing things in all different price ranges and the people working there are SOOO sweet :)
