Gold Details

Jacket c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Shirt Kelly Wearstler, Jeans Madewell, Purse Vintage Chanel, Sunglasses Ray Ban, Flats Thrifted (no tag), Lipstick Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in "Raspberry Pie", Necklace Stella & Dot, Earrings Sorrelli

I've always favored gold over silver. I'm not exactly sure why, but I love the
way it stands out. For someone with very feminine style it adds a nice
edge. I decided to play up the chain details on this Chanel-esque blazer
with some more subtle gold accents.
I wore this outfit last Friday and after work Thomas and I walked to
Fort Mason, where they have Off The Grid on Friday nights. They have
around 30 food trucks varying in ranges of cuisine. We went with Thai for dinner
and kettle corn for dessert. It was a fun evening with live music and beautiful weather.
If your in the area on a Friday night, you should check  it out!

Retro

Blouse Zara, Skirt c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Belt Vintage, Heels Proenza Schouler, Sunnies Replay, Bracelets c/o Bfrend, Purse Chanel, Lipstick Revlon "Really Red"

I felt a little retro in this outfit today. And I liked it :)
Some days I just need to get dressed up to give me a little pick-me-up.
This was definitely one of those days and it instantly made me feel better.

Mad Men Inspiration

Dress c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Lipstick Revlon "Really Red"

Mad Men is one of my favorite shows on TV. I decided to get dressed up in a 60's vibe dress and throw on some winged eyeliner and red lipstick to celebrate the 5th season today. I have to admit, one of the main reasons why I watch the show is because everybody is always impeccably dressed and so stylish. I also feel inspired to go extra feminine-glam when I watch it!

Candy Colored

Dress c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Leather Jacket H&M, Heels c/o Lulu's, Purse Tory Burch, Earrings Kate Spade, Lipstick Kate Spade in Pop Art Pink

As you can tell, I am fully embracing the warm weather that graced us with it's presence. I originally wanted to pair these heels with a simple white dress, but when I got this mint colored mini in the mail I changed my mind. It was a little risky and bold, but I love the complete contrast of all the different colors (the shoes have 3 colors on them!- pink, orange & red). What are you guys most excited about for spring?
It would also mean a lot if you could take the time to head over here to vote for me! Thanks :)

Simplicity

Coat c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Blouse J. Crew, Skirt J. Crew, Tights Forever21, Pumps Zara, Purse Stella McCartney

I had a big presentation today and wanted to look professional, but not too dressy. A blouse and skirt or slacks is usually my go-to combo. I kept everything simple, which I think gives it a polished look. Anything J. Crew is usually a good option in my book :)
How cute is the scallop detailing on this skirt?!

Lace & Gingham

Top Loft, Skirt c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Trench H&M, Pumps Zara, Sunnies Elizabeth & James, Purse Stella McCartney, Lipstick YSL

Lately I have been playing around with mixing different textures and patterns to create fun, unique looks. I love the contrast of the gingham print with the crochet lace. I like to keep everything else pretty simple, with minimal jewelry and accessories.
I'm in the middle of midterms right now, anticipating Spring Break next week! My dance team travels down south to Anaheim for the Big West Conference with the basketball team at my school. I can't wait to take a break from school, enjoy the warm weather and relax with my best friends. Only a few more days...

Chain Details

Blazer c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Sweater H&M (similar style here), Skirt Zara (similar style here), Tights Forever21, Booties Modern Vintage, Clutch c/o LYLIF

This blazer is great because it has enough bling to not have to wear any jewelry. I put together a more "work appropriate" look because I wore this to my internship, but I can't wait to create an edgy-er look with it. Thank goodness the weekend has finally come!

Chunky Knits

Knit Sweater c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Pants 7 For All Mankind, Heels Proenza Schouler (on sale from Zappos Couture), Purse Stella McCartney, Necklaces c/o LYLIF and Spike the Punch

I jazzed up my new chunky knit with some fun baubles and strappy heels. The key to wearing an over-sized chunky sweater is to wear something slimming on the bottom half. It gives a nice relaxed look instead of looking like you are wearing clothes that are too big for you :)

Faux Fur Collar

Coat c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Jeans Quicksilver, Booties Modern Vintage, Gloves Unknown (similar style here), Necklace c/o GeorgiaGonder

I finally brought out my faux fur jacket, just in time for the temperature to apparently freeze tonight. I am going to be wearing a few extra layers for these next couple of days. Also, I am in my last week of classes before finals next week...& then winter break! I seriously cannot wait.

Fuzzy Purple Sweater

Sweater c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Dress BCBG, Tights American Apparel (similar style here), Booties Simply by Vera Wang for Kohls, Necklace Madewell
Thomas's outfit: Button-up Lacoste, Jeans J Brand, Shoes Tommy Bahama, Socks Cole Haan

This sweater is probably one of the softest pieces of clothing I own. I paired it over my go-to BCBG grey dress (also seen here), threw on my heart shaped tights and added my grey booties. I also took a few photos of Thomas at the end and thought I would include what he's wearing. So handsome :)
I'm SO happy it's practically the weekend. I only have a morning workout and one class until relaxation time.
