Detailed in Black

I'm not sure if it's the gloomy weather in San Francisco, but I've been
drawn to darker prints and classic black pieces.
As much as I love color, neutral items are the most used in my closet.

Leather & Stripes

Top c/o Fifteen Twenty, Leather Shorts Rag & Bone, Jean Jacket Gap, Purse Balenciaga, Heels Givency, Aviators Ray Ban, Lipstick YSL

My weekend wear is always casual and includes some sort of stripes.
Thomas and I are spending the rest of our evening planning out
details for our honeymoon to Italy.
Any last minute suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)

Mornings

Dress c/o Minted Republic (Only $44!), Sweater Zara, Heels YSL, Purse Vintage Chanel, Sunnies American Apparel

Can you believe this dress is only $44!? It's from the adorable online boutique Minted Republic. I love the lace detailing and how it scoops in the back. Thomas and I decided to dress up for no specific reason and get breakfast this morning. It was somewhat of a celebratory breakfast since classes are officially over. We will both be gone this weekend, so we like to spend some "special" time together before we leave.

I also have a video tutorial for this milkmaid braid hairstyle here

Feeling Blue

Blouse Madewell (love this similar style & color), Pants Zara, Heels YSL (scored on Ebay), Clutch Zara, Sunnies Elizabeth & James, Lipstick Revlon "Really Red"

These pants are the epitome of comfy.
I could quite possibly wear them everyday.
P.S. My hair is confused as to which color it wants to be. Red? Blonde? Brown?
A little bit of all three?
I'll let it continue to fade out and see...

Spring Stripes

Shirt StyleMint, Skirt J. Crew, Heels YSL, Purse Kate Spade, Sunnies Ray Ban, Watch Michael Kors
I am a big fan of all the StyleMint T's (seen hereherehere and here). They are my go-to t shirts for everyday or casual looks and they are only $29.99. This Jackson one is my current favorite. The pastel blue, stripes and scoop collar make for a perfect summer shirt to pair with jeans, skirts, or even throw over a swim suit (I can't wait!). I am also really loving the new lace Quincey top. Lace & Gingham

Top Loft, Skirt c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Trench H&M, Pumps Zara, Sunnies Elizabeth & James, Purse Stella McCartney, Lipstick YSL

Lately I have been playing around with mixing different textures and patterns to create fun, unique looks. I love the contrast of the gingham print with the crochet lace. I like to keep everything else pretty simple, with minimal jewelry and accessories.
I'm in the middle of midterms right now, anticipating Spring Break next week! My dance team travels down south to Anaheim for the Big West Conference with the basketball team at my school. I can't wait to take a break from school, enjoy the warm weather and relax with my best friends. Only a few more days...

Floral Trousers

Jacket Anthropologie, Blouse Zara, Pants Anthropologie, Pumps Jessica Simpson, Purse Tory Burch, Aviators Ray Ban, Lipstick YSL

I have been a huge fan of the floral pant trend that has been popping up everywhere and I finally gave in when I spotted these trousers at Anthropologie. I absolutely love these pants and also the exact same pair in red (they are so soft and comfy!). I decided to tone down the intense floral pattern with a few shades of neutral colors and bright pink lip. Are you a fan of the floral print trend?
