Retro

Blouse Zara, Skirt c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Belt Vintage, Heels Proenza Schouler, Sunnies Replay, Bracelets c/o Bfrend, Purse Chanel, Lipstick Revlon "Really Red"

I felt a little retro in this outfit today. And I liked it :)
Some days I just need to get dressed up to give me a little pick-me-up.
This was definitely one of those days and it instantly made me feel better.

Feeling Blue

Blouse Madewell (love this similar style & color), Pants Zara, Heels YSL (scored on Ebay), Clutch Zara, Sunnies Elizabeth & James, Lipstick Revlon "Really Red"

These pants are the epitome of comfy.
I could quite possibly wear them everyday.
P.S. My hair is confused as to which color it wants to be. Red? Blonde? Brown?
A little bit of all three?
I'll let it continue to fade out and see...

Date Night

T-shirt c/o Stylemint, Maxi Skirt Forever21, Necklaces c/o Spike the Punch & Jennifer Zeuner, Sunnies Forever21, Oxfords Zara, Bag Rebecca Minkoff

Thomas and I had a date night at the movies Friday night and this is what I wore. Of course, like every other person, we saw The Hunger Games. I am a huge fan of the books (I read all three in four days!) and was so excited for the movie to come out. I probably watched the trailer 100+ times. And I got chills every time. I thought the movie was good, it's just hard to compare it to the books...because the books are waaay better. There is so much background and detail you can explain in a book, while everything is visual in a movie. I was explaining a lot of things to Thomas that they left out of the movie. Overall it was a great evening. It's hard to get time with that boy as he is crazy busy with baseball and grad school- he's gone most weekends. But I sure do love him xxxooo

American Girl

Blazer J. Crew, T-shirt Urban Outfitters (old), Jeans 7FAM, Purse Rebecca Minkoff, Oxfords Zara, Watch Michael Kors

Gloomy sky + class all day= This.
These oxfords were an impulse purchase (I accidentally forgot flats one time when Thomas and I were in SF) and I'm quite surprised how much use I have gotten out of them. I think they are still on sale on their site here & only $49!
I'm really looking forward to this weekend for a few reasons:
1) Catch up on sleep
2) No dance
3) Watch Thomas play baseball against Brown
4) Sleep more
!!!!

Life

Leather c/o Jacket LYLIF, Blazer Nordstrom, T shirt c/o Stylemint, Jeans True Religion, Necklace c/o Spike the Punch, Purse Stella McCartney, Heels Proezna Schouler, Bracelet c/o Oia Jules on Etsy

This weekend my dance team and I travel back down to LA for our dance competition. While I am beyond excited, it also marks the end of my college dance experience. I have danced pretty much my whole life, doing ballet since I was four. Joining the dance at my school was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am going to miss it so much. It's going to feel weird not having work outs every morning, practice until 11pm at night, and games almost every weekend. I'll have weekends where I will actually be able to do things! It's a bitter sweet feeling. I'm also graduating in a month and a half, which just recently became more real when I had to pick up my cap and gown.
There are so many exciting new changes happening my life and I cannot wait for what the future has to hold. The thing I am most excited about is marrying my best friend. Thomas, you are my world and I love you so much. XO

Candy Colored

Dress c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Leather Jacket H&M, Heels c/o Lulu's, Purse Tory Burch, Earrings Kate Spade, Lipstick Kate Spade in Pop Art Pink

As you can tell, I am fully embracing the warm weather that graced us with it's presence. I originally wanted to pair these heels with a simple white dress, but when I got this mint colored mini in the mail I changed my mind. It was a little risky and bold, but I love the complete contrast of all the different colors (the shoes have 3 colors on them!- pink, orange & red). What are you guys most excited about for spring?
It would also mean a lot if you could take the time to head over here to vote for me! Thanks :)

Pink & Floral

Blouse Equipment (also love this pink one), Skirt F21, Heels Miu Miu (similar style here), Lipstick Kate Spade in Pop Art Pink, iphone cover Kate Spade

I guess I was inspired by the wish list I posted yesterday because my outfit today was both very floral and very pink. It's almost harder not to wear color when it's this warm outside.
I also really recommend this Kate Spade lipstick. First, it's called "supercalifragalipstick" so what's not to love about that?! and Second, it's a gorgeous subtle shade of pink/coral.

P.S. It would mean a lot to me if you could pop on over here and VOTE for me to win a blogging gig with Threadflip! <3

Polka Dot/Polka Dot

Trench Zara, Blouse Tobi (also love this one), Skirt Random Boutique, Belt Forever21, Pumps Steve Madden, Watch Michael Kors, Aviators Ray Ban, Purse Tory Burch, Bracelet Gift from my Sister

I'm currently in San Diego with two of my best friends enjoying the few days of Spring Break we get. Thomas and I took these photos last week when the weather was warm and almost Spring like. I love the look of polka dot on polka dot. What prints are you mixing?

Simplicity

Coat c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Blouse J. Crew, Skirt J. Crew, Tights Forever21, Pumps Zara, Purse Stella McCartney

I had a big presentation today and wanted to look professional, but not too dressy. A blouse and skirt or slacks is usually my go-to combo. I kept everything simple, which I think gives it a polished look. Anything J. Crew is usually a good option in my book :)
How cute is the scallop detailing on this skirt?!

Lace & Gingham

Top Loft, Skirt c/o Queen's Wardrobe, Trench H&M, Pumps Zara, Sunnies Elizabeth & James, Purse Stella McCartney, Lipstick YSL

Lately I have been playing around with mixing different textures and patterns to create fun, unique looks. I love the contrast of the gingham print with the crochet lace. I like to keep everything else pretty simple, with minimal jewelry and accessories.
I'm in the middle of midterms right now, anticipating Spring Break next week! My dance team travels down south to Anaheim for the Big West Conference with the basketball team at my school. I can't wait to take a break from school, enjoy the warm weather and relax with my best friends. Only a few more days...

Work Attire

Jacket J. Crew, T-shirt Stylemint, Pants Target, Belt Vintage, Pumps Zara, Watch Michael Kors, Lipstick NARS "Heatwave"

For my internship, I like to keep things simple, polished and classic. A striped t-shirt and black slacks can easily be transitioned into jeans and flats for class! Lipstick always brightens my day as well :)

Floral Trousers

Jacket Anthropologie, Blouse Zara, Pants Anthropologie, Pumps Jessica Simpson, Purse Tory Burch, Aviators Ray Ban, Lipstick YSL

I have been a huge fan of the floral pant trend that has been popping up everywhere and I finally gave in when I spotted these trousers at Anthropologie. I absolutely love these pants and also the exact same pair in red (they are so soft and comfy!). I decided to tone down the intense floral pattern with a few shades of neutral colors and bright pink lip. Are you a fan of the floral print trend?

Mixing Prints

Trench Zara, Blouse Old Navy, Trousers TopShop, Pumps Zara, Purse Tory Burch, Scarf LYLIF, Watch Michael Kors, Bracelets c/o Bfrend, Nail Polish Butter London "Blagger"

I finally got these trousers in the mail after ordering them almost a month ago. I thought it would be fun to mix the polka dot with this bird printed blouse from Old Navy. The key for mixing prints is pairing like colors. I love how these two prints end up complimenting each other!
