Daily Skin Care Routine

One thing my mom always taught me growing up was to
take really good care of my skin. I have always made time and saved up
my money for good skin care products. I
know that there are a lot of great products (and more affordable
ones) out there, but these are the products that have stuck out against
all the rest.
The DDF Salicylic face wash has improved my skin tremendously. I have yet to
break out since I started using it! Most of the time I use a product, think it's working
and then it's almost as if my skin becomes immune to it and breaks out again. Not this one.
I am now a loyal user to this face wash and recommend it to everyone I know.
Although the DDF face wash works wonders, it really dries out my skin.
I have always had dry skin, so it made it even worse. (but hey, I'll take dry
skin over a breakout any day) I am a huge fan of moisturizing. I moisturized
my face and neck at least twice a day (once in the morning, once at night).
The Decléor Harmonie Moisturizer is by far my favorite moisturizer.
I have used products that make my skin burn, make my skin oily, make me break
out, etc. This moisturizer is really gentile, light and gets the job done.
I also use Decléor's Hydra Floral Eye Cream. I am really prone
to getting dark circle and under eye bags. I dab this eye cream on in the morning
and can feel and see the difference once I do!
The last part of my skin care routine is using Latisse. I know this does not
really have anything to do with skin, but it's part of my routine.
I always get asked questions about my eyelashes. No, I don't wear fake ones.
Latisse has drastically increased both the length and thickness of my lashes.
I used it for about 5 months and then stopped because my lashes became too long.
Even though many people said that my lashes would go back to normal, they
have stayed long and full. It's definitely worth the investment.

One part of my skin care routine that is not a product, is my Clarisonic.
My girlfriends kept telling me about how they were using a Clarisonic
and it really helped improve their skin. I'm not very good at exfoliating or using masks,
so I thought that this would be an easy way to get everything done all at once
and still keep using the products I love and that work for me.

*I have bought and used all of the products on my own. This is my own opinion
and I am not paid to promote any of these brands/products.

I have been debating getting a Clarisonic. Which model do you have and how often do you have to replace the brush?

I checked the link for that Latisse product. It looks like it works, but the side effects scare me. Have you had any bad side effects?

I've debated getting Latisse, but its just too damn expensive!

I love skin care posts! Your skin is amazing, so thank you for sharing. I've been wanting to try DDF for a while, so I might have to break down and go for it. Could you also do a hair post sometime? I absolutely LOVE your hair and would love to know what products you use and how you curl it to get it looking so perfect everyday. Great blog!

I too have dry skin and it's hard to find something that's not too oily and will moisturize the skin, yet will keep it from breaking out.
I am yet to try Clarisonic, so thanks for the tips!

I love my Clarisonic. My skin has gotten stubborn with age and I find this really helps get rid of the dirt and dead skin cells.

Thanks for the tips! I love my clarisonic but still haven't been able to completely get rid of the breakouts. I'll have to try this DDF!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing! :) I do have a question though...my husband works for an eye Dr. and I've been begging him to let me use Latisse but he refuses because he said people have problems with it. He said it can change the color of your eye to black. I don't think it is real common, but I was just wondering if you have noticed anything like this? If not, I'm going to keep begging him to let me use it haha. XOXO!

ive wanted to try latisse for the longest time as well but I have light blue eyes and I'm worried it will change the colour!! ahh

I am also a Latisse user and I love it! Anyone with less than lucious eyelashes should try it. I'm just jealous your eyelashes stayed long after not using it!

Thank you for sharing all your skincare. I also believe that no make up can combat a sagging and blemish face so a good base is always on top priority to taken care of. I adore your mom how she influence you in taking care of your skin at a young age.Kudos to her.<3

You have such flawless skin-I just bought the DDF cleanser today and I already have the clarisonic but it doesn't always keep my skin clear so hopefully this cleanser does the trick! Also do you happen to use any topical treatment if you have a breakout-or do you just never have breakouts anymore with this combo? :)

Love this post!

Thanks for sharing this post. I have been looking at products for my skin. I have come across a line by Alexandra De Markoff, that I absolutely love! Thanks for sharing your tips.

Taking good care of our skin depends on how well we choose the products we use for it. And you seem careful in choosing what product to use with your face. To beautify your skin more, I suggest that you try availing some facial and spa treatments that can actually stimulate collagen production that will result to a tighter and more youthful skin.
