A Little Sparkle

Sweater J. Crew (on sale!), Blouse Karen Kane, Jeans c/o James Jeans, Necklace Forever21, Bag Chicos, Flats c/o ShoeMint, Sunglasses Dior

Every Sunday Thomas and I head to the farmer's market
to stock up on fresh produce and fruit. We would usually go to the Ferry building
but now that we live in the Marina, we tried out the smaller market at Fort Mason.
Since our weekends are pretty low key, I always opt for something comfortable
and easy to walk in. These James Jeans (I am wearing the Couture Skinny Vesper)
are the perfect pair of skinny jeans that can go with everything.
I love the way they fit and the quality is amazing.
I wore them a couple times during the week and they didn't stretch out like most
jeans, which I find so annoying. They are definitely my new favorite pair
of jeans and you will be seeing a lot more of them!

Check out James Jean's new collection here and get 25% off your whole order!
Use code: JJ007 now until 10/15
Trust me, you will love them!

Sole Society

Outfit 1: Top c/o Karen Kane, Jean Shorts Forever21, Flats Sole Society, Sunnies American Apparel
Outfit 2: Dress BCBG, Sweatshirt J.Crew, Heels Sole Society, Bag Balenciaga

These past few days before the wedding have been filled with little tasks
and last minute details. Our close family and friends are starting
to come and we will all be together today at the rehearsal dinner tonight.
I was thrilled when I received these flats and heels from Sole Society.
I picked the flats because I knew they would be perfect for Italy and the white heels
would be perfect for all the white dresses I will be wearing over the next few days.
Sole Society is an online exclusive shoe retailer that releases a new shoe everyday.
Their shoes start at $49.95, are amazing quality for the price and they
offer free shipping and returns.
I even bought my mom a pair that she loves!

Right now Sole Society is offering Gal Meets Glam readers
$15 off their first purchase with the code: GMG15
This code is good until 8/31/12 for US only

Turquoise Mix

Blazer c/o Karen Kane, Dress c/o Dress The Population, Heels Manolo Blahnik, Purse Balenciaga, Bracelets c/o Stella & Dot and gift from my sister

The weather has warmed up a bit and allowed me to
bring out some more summery pieces that have been sitting and waiting
for the perfect day.
This dress makes me feel like I need to be on an exotic vacation.
To make it more practical I added a blazer.
Thank goodness for blazers, they always save me.

Layers

Dress c/o Karen Kane, Sweater Brandy Melville, Wedges Seychelles (Similar pair here), Purse Stella McCartney, Sunglasses Ray Ban, Necklace c/o Stella & Dot

I'm finally adjusting to the weather in San Francisco (as bipolar as it is).
I can still wear my summer items as long as I have a jacket or
sweater to layer over them. Currently my favorite thing to do is layer knit sweaters
over dresses. It not only keeps me warmer, but it's a great way to dress down
some of my dressier dresses.

Basics

Blazer Helmut Lang (similar styles here and here), T shirt Gap, Jeans c/o Karen Kane, Purse Coach, Heels Givenchy, Bracelets c/o Stella & Dot (here and here), Sunnies Ray Ban

After seeing this blazer on Alicia, I was determined to find it. Luckily, it was still on the
Helmut Lang website and with some of my graduation money, I was able to get it!
It was definitely a big splurge, but it is a staple piece that I will have in my closet forever.
It will definitely come in handy when Thomas and I move to San Francisco in a
couple weeks, since it's pretty chilly year round.

Neon Yellow & Floral

Skirt & Coat c/o Karen Kane, Blouse Tobi, Pumps & Clutch Zara

I bought a couple of these blouses from Tobi not only because they were really inexpensive, but they are so versatile and can add color to almost anything. I thought that I would bring out the gorgeous yellow in this skirt and really make it stand out. I'm drawn to anything neon yellow right now (Old Navy has some great stuff!) and I like it against my dark hair. I felt so ladylike in this outfit, which I love because I would describe myself as pretty girly. (I think I'm somewhat like Jess from New Girl)
I want to thank all of you SO much for all of the support/help you gave me on my new hair color. I cancelled my appointment to get the color stripped off after many of you told me that it would severely damage my hair. The dark is slowly growing on me and I can see that it's already slightly fading. I took some of your helpful tips and went and got some of the products you guys recommended!

In A Hurry

Coat c/o Karen Kane, Jeans 7 for All Mankind, Clutch Bookhou (on Etsy), Shoes Shoemint, Sock Thomas's, Sunnies Elizabeth and James

Hey Gals!
These are the same booties that I wore for our engagement photos. They are from Shoemint and I am mildly obsessed with them. I don't know if it's the color or if it's because they are just really comfortable, but they get worn a lot! It's not always practical running walking to class in heels, so I usually switch up wearing my Modern Vintage black booties or these. (I like to add some height to this 5'5'' frame)
Anyways, I got ready in .34734 seconds today, hence the crazy wind hair! But I'm in love with my new fur collar Karen Kane coat.

P.S. Yes, I know the middle button of my coat is undone. I told you I got ready fast...and I guess my photog (umm Thomas!) didn't notice.

Shades of Grey

Cape c/o Karen Kane, Dress Random Boutique, Tights Target, Boots Steve Madden (old, but similar style here), Earrings c/o JewelMint, Glasses Ray Ban, Purse Chanel

I was so excited when I received this Karen Kane ombre cape in the mail. It adds a bit of coziness while still looking chic (it's also super warm and comfy). Even though most people would think of it as more of a lounging item or for the weekends, I decided to paired it with a basic long-sleeved dress, tights, and boots to dress it up for work.
P.S. My hair is in a sloppy bun with the ends wrapped around the hair tie. (in case any of you were wondering :) )
