Ever since I bought this blazer, I have been wanting to add more leather

detailed pieces to my wardrobe. Since my style is very feminine, it's nice to have 

a few items that add a bit of edge and contrast. This sweater has all of the right elements;

it's cozy, loose fitting, plaid and has leather sleeves that make it unique. 

I've already thrown it on with jeans and flats and it easily transitions into an evening 

outfit with a leather skirt and tights.

A Little Sparkle

Every Sunday Thomas and I head to the farmer's market
to stock up on fresh produce and fruit. We would usually go to the Ferry building
but now that we live in the Marina, we tried out the smaller market at Fort Mason.
Since our weekends are pretty low key, I always opt for something comfortable
and easy to walk in. These James Jeans (I am wearing the Couture Skinny Vesper)
are the perfect pair of skinny jeans that can go with everything.
I love the way they fit and the quality is amazing.
I wore them a couple times during the week and they didn't stretch out like most
jeans, which I find so annoying. They are definitely my new favorite pair
of jeans and you will be seeing a lot more of them!

One Top, Two Ways

Striped t-shirts are probably the most worn and versatile
piece of clothing in my wardrobe.
From weekday to weekend, they work for anything.
StyleMint  does a great job at making simple striped tees in different colors,

This time, I paired the Finn T-shirt two different ways:
The first look was for work and day of meetings. I wore my StyleMint
Mona loafers with a simple black skirt and tights. I changed into deep purple
jeans and a leather jacket to grab dinner later that night with my husband.

Amalfi

 Dress Bailey 44, Wedges ShoeMint

From Rome, Thomas and I took the train to Naples and after the most 

insane (insanely beautiful & insanely scary) car ride, we arrive in Amalfi. 

When we pulled up to our hotel, I was speechless. It was one of

the most breathtaking views I had ever seen.

We could see the whole coast line looking over the Mediterranean Sea.

T and I spent the rest of our day swimming, drinking champagne and

enjoying a long, relaxing dinner at our hotel's restaurant (which had the

coolest lounge-feel to it).

P.S. I also wore this white crochet dress for our rehearsal dinner here!

Last Night In Florence

For our last night in Florence, Thomas and I went to a delicious

restaurant called Za-Za, recommended by our tour guide.

One thing that took some getting used to in Italy was eating later.

We are so used to eating dinner around 6pm, but in Italy most people

don't head out to dinner until a least 8 or 8:30. 

While this was strange at first, we quickly became accustomed to the time change

and soon loved our new ritual of heading to early cocktails and relaxing 

before dinner.

Memorial Day Weekend Wear

My weekend is going to be filled with baseball games and packing up our house.

This weekend marks the end of Thomas's baseball career and the beginning of our 

move to San Francisco.

lips are pretty sweet and my hair-do is quite girly.

Lounging Around

Warm, sunny weekends call for comfy clothes including relaxed maxi dresses. 

I'm really drawn to this one from BCBGeneration because of it's loose fit and guess what...it has pockets! It's perfect for errands and lounging about. Speaking of lounging about, I wish I could do just that right about now. Instead, I will be up until the wee hours of the morning trying to finish upcoming projects and presentations that are due this week. Fun!
